'Great Location! Close to subway, restaurants, bars, fairway grocery store, central park and more. Very clean. Just what we were looking for. Enough to sleep (comfortable bed), make some breakfast and get cleaned up before heading out to the big city. Also very quiet. It is a bit snug, but again perfect for it's use and for being in the heart of the Upper West Side. Can't beat it for the price. Checking in and out was simple. It needed some additional items you would normally expect in a hotel/vacation home but other then that made for a great stay for our vacation. Also Michael and Christina were great. Deposit returned promptly. Would recommend!!!'

'the good: quiet; great location--across from Fairway Mkt, 2 blks from subway,3 blocks from cross-town bus, clean and really appreciated having the apt cleaned once and having the sheets and towels washed, most comfortable bed in the world the not-so-good the table takes up way too much room in a small 300 ft. studio apt; no comfortable chair to watch TV; the three other chairs were ok for dining but not good for anything else; the saddle stool tables were useless for trying to balance the laptop where you had to plug it in...a flat table would be more serviceable....the laundry card, without instructions, could be only used once and I had to borrow a card from a neighbor and pay him back; more hangars and an extra set of keys (I didn't lose mine but lived in fear that I might)....all in all it was suitable but because of the main table and the side tables I would not recommend it....but I gotta tell you, I LOVED the bed...shalom, Jackie'

Once again we took in 5 Broadway shows. We purchased weekly unlimited Metro cards for $29 a great bargin. 'We had 8 nights in this appartement. It was clean, we had towels and sheets, so it was not necessary to bring that stuff with us. It is located well in the Upper West Side which is a beautiful neighbourhood. During the day we preferred being around the city, in the evenings the apartement is good for relaxation. We left the apartement early because there is not much daylight in the room. The organisation worked fine. We can not understand why leaving the suitcases for two and a half hours costs 15 dollars extra especially because they were stored in the closet where the cleaning lady was not hindered by the luggage.'

Esta a 20 metros de un mercado llamado FAIRWAY que está abierto de 6 am a 1 am y se consigue toda la comida que uno pueda necesitar, hasta platos calientes venden. La línea de subte 72 está a 200 metros y tiene conexión con todo NY. Todo salió a la perfección excepto por internet y el equipo Bose que no funcionaban. Nos costó hacer funcionar la ducha (hay que tirar para abajo una arandela que se encuentra en la CANILLA) pero una vez que le encontramos la vuelta estuvo todo ok. El departamento es MUY recomendable. Lo único que le faltó fue un microondas y nada mas. Saludos'

'The apartment was perfect for our needs - in a nice part of town, just three blocks from the park or the subway. It was easy to find and to get in, everything was clean and anything that needed explaining was clearly explained. It was not a problem to leave our bags there on the day we checked out as we had an evening flight, this was a real help. The cleaning lady, Mary, was also very helpful. All in all a lovely little apartment, far better value than a hotel would have been!'

'Our vacation over Thanksgiving to New York City was the first time both of us had ever visited. The NYC apartment couldn't have been more perfect and clean, or in a better location; it was fantastic! We were just a few blocks from the metro where we could access everything, and restaurants, grocery stores and shopping lined the blocks all around us. We were also in a perfect spot to walk to the start of the parade. We will definetely stay either there, or one of Michael and Christina's other apartments when we come again. The process worked great and we found our stay very enjoyable. I would've loved a nice, comfy chair to sit in at the end of the day instead of climbing in the bed, but that is just a tiny wish. We thank them sincerely for their hospitality! '

'Perfect stay in this very quiet appartment. No noise during the night as the room is in the back of the building. Of course, you hear about the neighbour's tv but it is all you can listen to.. The appartment is very clean and confortable. In the beginning, it is quite difficult to understand the shower but go to the guest's book where you will find a picture showing how to resolve your problem ! Perfect localisation, the metro is 5 minutes by feet and just at the corner you will find all what you need to make your errands. 'We loved our stay and appreciated the $, the cleanliness of the condo (with one exception-see below) & the location. We do have a few suggestions (in ascending order of importance): 1) A small microwave would be a good idea; 2) The shower curtain could be cleaned/replaced (dirty on the bottom); 3) The building itself appears to be getting somewhat rundown & the common areas (hallways & entry) were not as clean as the condo. We certainly understand that this is completely out of your control, but this will be something we consider in deciding whether or not to book again; 4) We fully agree with your comments about the AC. However, given the lack of ventilation, we routinely had to run the AC at night in order to cool the place down enough to sleep. This was during a time when the weather (with only one humid day) was lovely. Have you considered installing a ceiling fan/light fixture? We have them in every room at home & it makes a big difference in cooling (not to mention the electric bill). '

'This apartment is very conveniently located - only two blocks from the nearest Metro stop. It was clean and easily accessible. Michael was easily contactable when we couldnt work out how to use the shower! We felt safe in the apartment at all times. We didnt find the best as comfortable as mentioned by other guests (the fitted sheet would not stay intact and the mattress dipped in the middle). A toaster, a tea towel and some new sheets would be some additions which would have made our stay more comfortable. I would recommend this apartment if you are looking to save money on your accomodation, however dont expect the same level of comfort and finishes as you would find in a quality hotel. '

'A big thank you to Michael and Cristina for a very comfortable and geographically well positioned stay. The apartment is clean and tidy and the bed is very comfy. I did notice that the apartment lacked a kettle in favour of a coffee machine - easily fixed though, I'm sure. The location is superb. Walk out the door and you'll be in the subway in no time at all. You'll probably even spot the odd celebrity on your way!! If you want a bit more room we also stayed in Michael and Cristina's West 75th one bedroom apartment which is a couple of doors down and also recommended. One last thing - Michael and Cristina truly shine when and if there is a problem. Be it a blocked drain or an administration error, they are on the case and have the problem resolved with speed and efficiency. Thanks guys!'

'This is a comfortable, quiet studio apartment in a secure building. The location is very convenient, just off Broadway and near the 72nd st. subway station, which is a stop for express and local trains on the 1,2,3 line. This makes it easy to get anywhere in NYC quickly. There are many fine bars,restaurants, and retail stores in the upscale surrounding area. Central park and the Museum of Natural History are less than a 10 minute walk East. A well-stocked market open till 1am is also 1 minute away. We would definitely stay here again. Chris & Mel'
